Golden

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This small cactus grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 3 perforated stems. Each stem is vibrant yellow or copper, and is covered in dozens of flexible silver spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 8 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with alternating petals of gold and magenta, with a peach central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 49 petals. It has no scent.

The cactus's skin is delicate, the copper flesh is smooth, and the light brown sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.

It is suitable for making strong rope
The sap is light brown.
Several parts of the caudiciform have medicinal properties.
