Lilac vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This enormous vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,228 feet (983.9 meters) and growing as high as 795 feet (242.3 meters).

It takes 46 years for the caramel stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1.8 feet (53 cm) and are tough and woody.

The circular, soft leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are lilac on the edges and magenta at the center, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces dozens of large dark grey flowers.

It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is frequently struck by lightning.
It is suitable for making paper
