Emerald vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 35 feet (10.7 meters) and growing as high as 140 feet (42.7 meters).

It takes 13 months for the emerald stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The stiff, pointed, soft leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are generally lime, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces clusters of large peach flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of tiny seed pods.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
