Copperbell

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its yellow stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 4 and are thick and straight, and split into several branching stems halfway up, and the huge, violet leaves are pleated with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Each stem splits 4 to 9 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are green in the center, copper in the middle and florescent yellow at the edges. The flower head is made up of 38 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. They are very delicate.

It has a soft scent that smells like damp, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
