Purplevine

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 44 feet (13.4 meters) and growing as high as 140 feet (42.7 meters).

It takes 2 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The thin, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) in length. They are dark grey on the edges and olive at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many clusters of average vivid purple flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of large berries.
