Grey Puff Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This modest-sized, green grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in small clumps that are flimsy and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, grey puff.
During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
