Silvergrass

This small, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, red flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.
