Silvervine

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. Its silver stem is very thin and straight, and the tiny, gray-green leaves are black on the underside and are thin with ripped edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single giant flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are generally peach; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is largely flat with several raised round-tipped petals. They fall easily.

It has a strong scent that smells like misty mornings, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
