Cinnamon Violet

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is very thick, and the huge, florescent red leaves are wispy with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

A single large flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with violet petals that gradient shift to peach on the outer edge. The central disk is amber. The flower head is largely flat with 37 widely spaced round-tipped petals. They detach easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like cinnamon, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.

It coexists peacefully with other plants.
