Bluebell

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 131 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous stocky, curved stems covered in smooth, light gray bark, and the wood inside is yellow.

The branches trail down to the ground with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of giant, long, tapering, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are blue and blue, rigid and fuzzy.

In mid-spring it produces a handful of medium-sized, red flowers with flame-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a strong scent that smells like bleach.
