Copper

Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its copper stem is thick and splits into several branching stems at the top, and the small, lime green leaves are finger-like with jagged edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

Dozens of small flowers grow in bunches along the stem. The flowers are 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide, with petals that are blood red on the edges and lilac at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 curved petals. They detach easily.

It has a weak scent that smells like rotten egg, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.
