Graygrass

Grass type: Annual (Sheds its leaves in winter)

This small, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in sparse patches that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, grey spikelet.

During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
