Gray Puffgrass

This small, gray grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in thin clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, caramel puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
