Spiralpine

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 50 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of slender, straight stems covered in paper-thin, ridged, gray bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches are short and thin that and are covered with thick bunches of large, circular, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are gentle purple on the edges and peach at the center, frail and smooth.

In late spring it produces thousands of small, copper blossoms with 6 circular shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like fruity.

In late winter oval fruits ripen. The smooth purple skin is peel-able and sweet and salty, and the crunchy beige flesh is sweet and very juicy. The yellow seeds are tiny and are located in the centre of the fruit.
