Orange Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Sheds its leaves in winter)This huge, orange grass grows up to 30 feet (9.1 meters) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in extensive patches that are resilient.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, olive tuft.
During the late autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
