Peachy Flower

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.8 feet (53 cm) tall. Its moss green stem is thick and straight, and the tiny, brown leaves are broad, flat with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Around 80 small flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 4 cm (1.6 inches) wide, with petals that are peach on the underside and olive on the top. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. They are sturdy.

It has a weak scent that smells like paint, and it has copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.
