Indigo Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This big cactus grows up to 93 feet (28.3 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is brown, and is covered in large amounts of rigid purple spines. The spherical body is gray-green, and is covered in brittle dark green spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 46 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are peach on the underside and olive on the top grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a heart with 21 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like perfume.

The cactus's skin is thin, the sky blue flesh is rubbery, and the indigo sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
