Amberleaf Succulent
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This big leaf succulent grows up to 78 feet (23.8 meters) tall. The wispy stem is beige and brown, and is covered in hundreds of flexible lime spines. The ripped-edged, wispy leaves are either dark brown, or beige with amber patches. Thick bunches of them grow from the base in alternating layers of 2, then 4, then 6, and so on. The leaves are flimsy, but are very difficult to pull away.
It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are peach on the underside and olive on the top grows at the top, reappearing after 5 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. It has a faint scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.
The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the violet flesh is leathery, and the bronze sap is thin.
