Purplevine

This small flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 6 and are wispy and straight, and split into dozens of branching stems at the base, and the tiny, orange-yellow leaves are long, tapering with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

6 to 8 medium-sized flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 8 cm (3.1 inches) wide, with petals that are white on the underside and gentle purple on the top. The flower head is largely flat with many raised round-tipped petals. They are hardy.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like a woman, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.
