Red Moss

This red moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In moorlands.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly durable.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores.
