Lilacvine

It takes 6 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and slick.
The slender, pointed, smooth leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are found in purple, azure and grey varieties, and have wavy edges.
During late spring, the bine produces lots of giant lilac flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces a few large berries.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
The leaves are slightly toxic, and very savoury.
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
