Eternal Spruce
Tree type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This massive tree grows up to 131 meters (429.8 feet) tall and lives "forever", with many known specimens being tens of thousands of years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a slender, twisting trunk covered in wrinkled, dark gray bark, and inside, the light wood is white with black speckles.
The small clumps of branches are very long, thin and wispy, with thousands of twigs covered with large amounts of giant, gray or amber needles. The needles themselves are sturdy.
In late summer it produces medium-sized, copper aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
