Emerald Tuft Grass

This modest-sized, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in small clumps that are light and frail and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, light green tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
