Graytail

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This enormous, gray grass grows up to 24 feet (7.3 meters) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in sparse patches that are delicate and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, yellow tail.

During the early winter, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
