Emerald

This small caudiciform grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The wide stem is emerald, and is covered in large amounts of flexible turquoise spines. The straight, yellow trunk can grow to as much as 2 feet (61.0 cm) in diameter in the middle. Its copper branches are tall, rigid and upright and start growing three quarters of the way up the stem.

The copious amounts of smooth-edged, sickle shaped leaves are solid green with orange dots. They are frail, and do not detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 9 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are pastel purple at the sides and peach at the center grows at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of 11 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like damp.

The caudiciform's skin is extremely thick, the copper flesh is sticky, and the white sap is thin.
