Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This massive, gray-green grass grows up to 34 feet (10.4 meters) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are flexible and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, peach puff.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for making strong rope
