Magenta Creeper

This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 405 feet (123.4 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 10 months for the emerald stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The pleated, smooth leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are either magenta or olive, with crimson splotches, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces many balls of average grey flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of large berries.
