Slatevine

This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is very thin, and the huge, orange leaves are circular with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Lots of large flowers grow in bunches along the stem. The flowers are 8 cm (3.1 inches) wide, with solid slate petals decorated with intense blue lines and a aquamarine central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 curved petals. They fall easily.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like skunk spray, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects , but only one species in particular.
