Cyan Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This giant vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,545 feet (470.9 meters) and growing as high as 255 feet (77.7 meters).

It takes 45 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1.8 feet (56 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The cylindrical, crispy leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are a shade of cyan that gradient shifts to beige at the top, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the vine produces hundreds of small black flowers.

It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
