Bloodvine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This huge vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,407 feet (428.9 meters) and growing as high as 106 feet (32.3 meters).
It takes 8 years for the peach stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3.4 feet (1.0 meters) and are smooth and slick.
The stiff, pointed, clammy leaves reach up to 3.9 feet (1.2 meters) in length. They are slate at the bottom and blood red with pink dots at the top, and have irregular edges.
During late spring, the vine produces a thick sheet of colossal hazel flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny seed pods.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
