Redspine

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 2 very thick stems. Each stem is red, and is covered in large amounts of rigid beige spines.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid grey petals and a gentle orange central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals in raised layers. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like leather.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the gold flesh is smooth, and the gold sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
