Violet Puff Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This short, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in small clumps that are resistant.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, violet puff.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few large grains.

It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
