Caramel Grass

This short, caramel or gentle yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in small clumps that are resistant and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, olive puff.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
