Crimson vine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 48 feet (14.6 meters) and growing as high as 75 feet (22.9 meters).
It takes 15 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.
The long, narrow, waxy leaves reach up to 7 inches (18 cm) in length. They are crimson at the bottom and intense yellow with amber patches at the top, and have wavy edges.
During late spring, the vine produces several small yellow flowers.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
