Azuregrass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This average-sized, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in extensive patches that are flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, azure tuft.

During the late summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of tiny grains.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
