Orangevine

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its gray stems grow in bunches of 4 and are thin and straight, and the large, orange leaves are broad, flat with irregular edges. 22 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Many tiny flowers grow in bunches along the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with solid drab orange petals and a bronze central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. They fall easily.

It has a weak scent that smells like freshly washed clothes, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.


It is suitable for making strong rope
Several parts of the vine have medicinal properties.
