Lilac Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short, lime green and gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in thin clumps that are resistant and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, lilac flower.

During the early winter, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
The leaves are high in natural sugars.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
