Scarlet

This short flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is very thin and splits into 5 branching stems at the top, and the miniature, green leaves are light caramel on the underside and are very narrow and elongated with wavy edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Many medium-sized flowers grow in bunches along the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with alternating petals of blood red and olive, with a sky blue central disk. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. They are sturdy.

It has a strong scent that smells like misty mornings, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
