Golden Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In heathlands, In damp forests, and In marshes.
It is big, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very durable.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
