Redvine
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.8 feet (53 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is very thick, and the giant, yellow and lime green leaves are black on the underside and are circular with wavy edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
Dozens of giant flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 15 cm (5.9 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of blood red. The flower head is shaped like a sphere made up of many tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They are very delicate.
It has a delicate scent that smells like rotten eggs, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to bees.
