Brown Moss

This brown moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In rainforests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very durable.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores.
