Turquoise Puff Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized, gray grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, turquoise puff.

During the early summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.

It commonly grows in large patches.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for making paper
