Limeflower

This modest-sized flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its lime green stem is very thin and splits into 10 branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the tiny, yellow-green leaves are 9 pointed with serrated edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

A single small flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 16 cm (6.3 inches) wide, with light brown petals on the lower layer and slate petals decorated with vivid purple dots on the inner layer. The central disk is light brown. The flower head is made up of 35 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cube. They are hardy.

It has a powerful scent that smells like burning wood, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
