Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This large shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 12 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several very thick, wavy stems covered in knobbly, light gray bark, and the wood inside is burgundy-brown.

The branches are short, thin and wispy that and are covered with small amounts of small, perforated, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are intense orange and red, strong and fuzzy.

It produces thousands of small, lime flowers with many layers of petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a strong scent that smells like grass cuttings. In late summer it forms giantamber berries.
