Lime Green Conifer

This modest-sized tree grows up to 25 meters (82.0 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 585 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a slender, twisting trunk covered in hard, wrinkled, black bark, and inside, the dense wood is brown.

The excessive amount of branches are very long and thin, covered with very large amounts of miniature, lime green needles. The needles themselves are robust.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, crimson, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
