Sunshine Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps On rotten logs, In rainforests, and On trees.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly light.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
