Bluevine

This colossal bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,268 feet (996.1 meters) and growing as high as 429 feet (130.8 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 36 years for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 2.2 feet (66 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The long, tapering, sticky leaves reach up to 3.3 feet (99 cm) in length. They are intense blue at the bottom and orange with cyan lines at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a handful of large silver flowers.
