Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This small flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its light brown stem is thin, and the miniature, gray leaves are very thick with rounded edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
Dozens of medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with petals that are copper at the sides and cream at the center. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of 15 tightly layered, narrow petals. They are hardy.
It has an intense scent that smells like skunk spray, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
