Silvervine

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 204 feet (62.2 meters) and growing as high as 131 feet (39.9 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 22 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The thin, rough leaves reach up to 1.9 feet (58 cm) in length. They are lime and yellow, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces lots of tiny blood red flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of large seed pods.
