Golden Moss

This yellow or light purple moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In marshes, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is big, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly durable; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
